Keith Olbermann cannot contain himself in what may be the most vicious indictment of Trump ever recorded - Rare.us

Late Monday night, entertainer Keith Olbermann, formerly of MSNBC and ESPN, released his latest web-series monologue on his Twitter account.

“The Resistance,” created in partnership with GQ Magazine, is a semi-regular video series that shows Olbermann behind a desk, pleading to the American public about politics. In his latest video, Olbermann discusses the CIA’s latest acknowledgment that the Russian government influenced the 2016 election, and describes the claim as an “act of war.”

“We are at no longer a sovereign nation, we are no longer a democracy, we are no longer a free people, we are the victims of a bloodless coup,” Olbermann says after he claims that America is at war with Russia.

“If we did it to another country, it would be described as an act of war,” Olbermann said of Russia’s influence over the 2016 presidential election.

At times, Olbermann’s hands were visibly shaking with anger, leaving the viewer to wonder whether he would punch through the screen.

Olbermann’s speech shows that he is disappointed in many Americans and thinks President-elect Donald Trump is far worse a character than many believe.

According to Olbermann, the country, the President of the United States, reporters, and politicians of all political affiliations are to blame.

Throughout the presidential election, Olbermann was one of Trump’s greatest critics. In this video, Olbermann shares his belief that having a Trump presidency is tantamount to having a Russian puppet in the White House.

“The military apparatus of this country is about to handed over to scum, who are beholden to scum, Russian scum,” Olbermann screams.

“He is not a president, he is a puppet,” he adds of Trump.

Reactions to the video have so far been mixed, with many calling on Olbermann to tone down his very aggressive rhetoric. One YouTube commenter who claims he is from Russia tried to make a joke of Olbermann’s claims.

“Hahahahaha Americans are mad!!!” the YouTube user wrote. “I am Russian and I can tell we have no ability to control your government we can’t even control our own.”

Another Twitter user used a word against Olbermann that many have spent the last two years applying to Trump.

“Fearmongering at its best,” the user wrote.
